CHOOSING THE LENGTH

> The rod should be longer than the width of the window
in order to let in more light and to give the impression

CURTAINS, SHEERS :
CHOOSING THE WIDTH

In order to create a voluminous look,
you should choose a width that is two to three times
the length of the curtain rod.

The fullness of the curtain or sheer will vary according to
the thickness of the fabric and the curtain heading chosen.

> Madura recommends first letting the curtain or sheer
hang for two or three days.
>Fold the fabric to achieve the desired height.
>Place the thermic strip at the bottom of the curtain or
sheer, with the adhesive side facing the fabric.
> Iron the thermic strip using a warm setting.
> Re-iron fabric where folded to hold the hem in place.

l i Removable liners

Madura’s removable liners remain separate from the
curtain. They may be attached to any Madura model,
permitting the curtain to fall more elegantly and
giving greater protection against sun, cold and noise.
Use black-out liners for maximum darkness.

On a traverse rod
> Attach the liner to the lowest row of heading tape
pockets.

On a rod
> The curtain and liner are hung on the same rings.
> If using curtains with grommets, slide curtain and liner
on rod together.

With “attache-fix”, “Anneau-fix“ and Strap with “Fix”
Hold the curtain and liner together, back to back,
> with “attache-fix” when using a traverse rod
> with “anneau-fix” or straps and “fix” when using a rod.
